Welcome to the Comicbook Club!
The Comicbook Club is open to students in the middle school. It will be led by Sra. Botero and Mr. Kospender. We will meet in the Art Room on Fridays from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. There is no cost to be a member of the club. The first meeting will be Friday, OCTOBER 2.The purpose of this club is for students who show an interest in learning more about comicbooks as a genre, the history, the characters and how to create a comicbook. We will be discussing different story lines from the big two, (DC and Marvel) as well as converse about the artistic styles of various artists these and some indie companies. This will lead students into creating their own comicbooks by doing the writing, illustrating and editing. Students are encouraged to bring their own comicbooks and graphic novels.
