Dear Families,
Welcome to 4th grade. I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding year with your child. We will be learning about our Florida State this year in Social Studies. I will go into more detail on the subject areas on the “Meetthe Teacher Night” on September 1st. I hope you can make it.
Our classroom rules with be discussed with the students on the first day of school and sent home for you to sign. We will also be discussing our procedures for the day, which will include home to school procedures also.
Please check your child’s backpack each night as information on this will be coming home. Please sign your child’s agenda each night. This is a great communication tool to make sure all homework is completed for the next day. I will be checking agendas every morning. Your child’s success here at BSCS is most important to me.
I will go over my behavior procedures on "The Meet the teacher Night" also as I have a chart for you to see. If you are not able to come that night we can meet after school to go over this.
On the week of September 7th I will be available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00-3:30 for after school help. I may have to stop one of those days when Science Olympiad for Elementary starts. I will let you know about that at a later date.
Please feel free to email me or call the school with any concerns or information that you feel important for me to know. Again, I am very excited about this year and honored to have the privilege of working with your child.
Sincerely,
Sally Strozinsky
