Kindergarten through Second Grade - Students are learning general aiming and kicking techniques using soft foam balls. A series of calisthenics will be done on a light level followed by slow jogging around the field. Third through Fifth Grade - Modified Soccer - The students will be practicing throw-ins, dribbling and passing while moving down the field. USDA Food Pyramid - Discussion on the importance of a healthy diet. Sixth through Eighth Grade - Students will play and understand the various soccer positions: Goalie, Defense, Midfield, Forward Students are combining soccer skills and basic rules to understand and participate in a version of team sports. Discussion about the various types of tournaments and how they are run. a. Single Elimination b. Double Elimination c. Round Robin
