Greetings Readers,
Blessed Sacrament is now using the Enterprise 1.7 version of Scholastic’s Reading Counts (RC) & Scholastic Reading Inentory (SRI) software.
Students take the SRI 2-3 times per year and this informaiton is used to help them identify which books are appropriate for their reading level.
Students requirements for RC quizzes are assigned by eaach Language Arts teacher for their grades.
A book from the school library that has a lexile sticker on the cover also has a RC quiz. If you are unsure whether a book has an RC quiz, use the information below to find out.
Quiz Search
Scholastic does not currently have an easily searchable database.
The best way to search to see if a book has a quiz in Reading Counts, what a book's Lexile is, etc. is to follow this link below and search in the blue ‘Quick find by’ box.

When the results are returned, then look to see if the ‘Format*’ column says Test for the book you are interested in or click on the book title for Lexile and other information.

Reading Counts Notes:
As of 2/16/10, our students have passed Reading Counts quizzes on over 1400 books (11,600,000+ words). Great Job Readers!
